SONHARE É GRATIS(To dream is free) # 3

This is yet another Voyage where I did not spend a single penny.

Visa, flights, foreign currency, accomodation, sightseeing all done and booked but for free.

This time I had dreamt and I saw a picture from somewhere, which has a beautiful sunrise view of Angkor Wat from top of a mountain. May be I saw this picture from Instagram.

That's it!! As I woke up, I decided to go to Siem Reap in Cambodia. I have fallen in love with that view. I bought a flight to Siem Reap and the Visa to Cambodia is on arrival for Indians. Of course I have been to Cambodia twice, so I know that Indians get VOA.

Next thing, is I find myself in a Youth hostel. Usually YMCA or YWCA are for only men or women respectively. But the one I was staying in is for both young boys and girls and that to full of only Thai boys and girls. I was very surprised that I was the one who is not Thai.

I dropped my bags and ran to grab some lunch at the Kitchen for the aroma of Thai food. Yes I love steam rice & Thai curry, green and red both. But, am surprised again that there is a group of four Nepalis. Two paranoid parents were looking up to the Kitchen counter and clutching on to their two cute little kids with twinkling eyes.

This Kitchen was too crowded and I decided to move on. I went out to realise that our Hostel was at quite a height. I thought that the trek to my favourite view from Instagram would be easier. I wanted to check on the swimming pool which was the USP while I booked the accomodation. But then there were two pools in two different levels yet not the one promised in booking.com

So walking up the garden on this property on a Hill, I met a girl who knew and wanted to show me the third pool. But everytime she would take me to a higher place to show a more beautiful Lotus pond compared to the one before. Seriously!! Lotus ponds on a Hill top!

At some point I realised that its already the sunset time and decided to give up on the mystery pool.

Eureka! I shouted to the girl. That was my favourite view of the Angkor from a Hill top. I immediately got busy with my camera and Instagram.

I was making lot of pictures of the Angkor Wat temple from the hill top, through the branches of a Mango tree which has blossomed Rose flower.
Hmmm...

And then I woke up with a feeling that it was a dream. But may be, I was half asleep as I immediately started checking my phone for the pictures.

So not only I dreamt in my dream, I also had this curious and beautiful experience all for free. But why Angkor wat from a Hill top and not Torres del paine under water. They say sometimes dreams are in relation to what we go through in our daily life.
Or atleast they have a minute reference to what we think. May be I dreamt of Angkor because my friend Jorge is traveling with his cousin in Angkor at the moment. Or also because I saw pictures of my Instagram friend from Philippines posting pictures of Angkor Thom

This explains the instagram picture where in there is no such hill around AnkorWat,Youth hostel, the lotus ponds on the Hill top, rose flower on a Mango tree and most importantly at the cost of no expense.

Seriously am glad that to dream is free.
