SAMBAR DASHAMI, a ritual with a great mythology.

India is a festival everyday, however there is a local saying that odisha is 13 festivals for 12 months. It means we celebrate every possible festival i. e many many festivals every month.

Today is one such occasion. Its Sambar Dashami. As per mythology Krishna had cursed his own son Samba with Leprosy as his family of Yadavas were unstoppable especially Samba. He was so handsome that the significants of his step brothers would disguise as his significant to embrace him. For which Krishna cursed him with Leprosy and his only cure was praying to the Sun God.

He dedicated prayers to the sun god for 12 years at the Banks of Chandrabhaga near Konark temple of Odisha and was cured.

Ever since then the mothers pray the sun god on this occasion of Sambar dashami for good health of their children.

A REVOLUTIONARY TRAIN IN INDIA

Satabdi Express which runs between Puri and Kolkata is a revolutionary train for Indian tracks.
It is very comfortable with extra leg room, comfy reclining seats, hygiene and big glass windows which gives beautiful treat of rural life of India.

ANNIVERSARY DAY ❤

Today i.e on the 3rd of October is very special to me. It marks the anniversary of my blog which I stepped into 5 years ago.

It's been 5 years of Whereisbunty. Today between many other special occasions I remembered that am not regular with blog for quite some months. I have been travelling, making experiences and celebrating life but have been away from my blog which is also something I miss so much. 

Let's celebrate this anniversary with an aim to share more posts, more occasions, more love and more life because I know someone around the world is reading my posts.
