As planned before, I had few agendas for this special date like, I wanted to go the temple, go to buy fish for my Empty Aquarium, buying things for my next tour, go around my favourite streets of Bhubaneswar for making pictures, work out harder in the gym etc.
However its very likely in my case to deviate from plannings and to do the unplanned.
Around late afternoon my friend invited for his Sangeet( it is a pre wedding dancing and singing) and I could not say no. Then another friend who insisted to join for the annual tribal exhibition, it is quite an interesting event and I somehow thought I could manage. I had no wish to run around though. On top of that my sister who is contesting for the corporator elections in Bhubaneswar asked for a help and it was inevitable to say no.
Still I was ambitious for which I went to my sister's place and then rushed to the Sangeet program.
I was barely there between the family dance and songs, I had to take the call from my bestfriend living in Australia, who is coming to India for a surgery and then we are traveling together in Thailand. So had to take the call. Back to the fun and party, it was my friend Leesa who called for the tribal exhibition.
Since I wanted to enjoy the party and spend more time with my friend who has flown from Stockholm to get married, I decided to arrive at the exhibition with excuses.
Reaching at the venue where my friend was waiting for nearly one hour. Of course she was not happy. Yet she was smiling and mentioned, "had you not been my best friend who is a sweet guy," I would have been very angry. I apologized her and said I went to stockholm to bring these Lindt Chocolates full of rum ;)
We both gulped some of them and thoroughly enjoyed the tribal fair. Eating, drinking and some shopping.
I had to loose the calories and do atleast a bit out of my original plan. So after I was at the Gym to sweat it out.
It was an amazing day, although it was nothing as planned. No fish and my aquarium is still empty. No photography. Still I cannot complain for all the smiles and winks.
Sometimes its better unplanned ;)
