HOME CALLING !!

The spirits were quite high as I was flying to Bhubaneswar.

Minutes before I could land I was in a dream to see what changes my hometown has to offer. Many pictures and many ideas. Many stories told by my friends and family in last two months.

Very curious to see my city which changes every time I land here. What is new this time . New flyovers which I donot like or new restaurants.

My city is still small and away from massive urbanisation like other cities in India. Life and people are laid back. A city full of temples; brand new and centuries old.


Greenery, greenery and greenery every where. Boom as I land a huge structure at the airport . I was welcomed as a guest in my own city by an Odissi dancer :)

Got my bags and ran to ask, excuse me what is happening here?
Sir, this is the new International Airport coming up.

How soon?
Very soon, very very soon. From January we have daily flights to Thailand. After we would have flights to Japan, China, Sri Lanka.

Wow international airport in my city. Am I not a traveler and flights to Japan from my city.

Guess why all Buddhist Countries !!
